Please be advised that the union meeting in Moncton, New Brunswick HAS BEEN CHANGED from February 21 to February 28, 2010.
As per Article 31.2.2 of the Constitution, please be advised effective January 1, 2010, the monthly working dues will increase by $1.10. Therefore your monthly dues payment will be $38.75.
The 2010 Scholarship Applications are here. To be eligible, the applicant must be a son, daughter, legally adopted child or dependent of a member in good standing. Applications are limited to high school seniors who will be entering their first year of academic study at a degree-granting, accredited college or university within one year of their high school graduation.
Please call your respective union hall and we will send you a scholarship application, upon request. Applications postmarked after MARCH 1, 2010 will NOT be considered.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR DUES ARE PAID TO DATE FOR 2009. Dues receipts for Income Tax purposes will be sent to you in February.
NOTICE TO APPRENTICES: It is IMPERATIVE that you attend a minimum of four (4) union meetings in your surrounding area, per year. This is necessary, in order for you to participate in the growth and pride of your union.
